C-BRAT™ Project quantifies and communicates tomorrow’s risk today. By combining numerous standards, years of research, industry surveys and expert opinions, C-BRAT™ Project delivers the first Quantitative Risk Evaluation System (QRES). It identifies the sources of risk early enough in the program to minimize its impact. C-BRAT™ Project provides a tool set of six risk modules to quantify project task risks

and the management can use any or all of these risk modules. C-BRAT™ Project provides the capability to evaluate these risks either by using the historical data or by conducting a detailed analysis. General Risks are calculated at the project level while other risks are calculated for each project activity and are rolled up to provide a total project risk.

General Risk – To assure program success, C-BRAT™ Project quantifies corporate risks for sub-contractors. This module evaluates the general risks to a project caused by Corporate Risk, Corporate Management/ Financial Risk, and Project Requirement risks. Corporate risk includes risk attributed by experience, project similarity, organizational maturity, yields, etc. The Management/Financial Risk includes financial stability, budget and financial management program money phasing, etc. Projects Requirement risks evaluate the weakness caused by stability of project requirements. This alerts PM to any future concerns well in advance of their occurrence, so that timely corrective action may be affected.

Technical Risk - To minimize the technical risk, C-BRAT™ Project quantifies technical risk contributed to each task of the program. These risks are quantified either by using the historical data or by conducting a detailed analysis of each of the Program tasks. The detailed analysis evaluates the comprehensiveness, quality and expected results of each of the project tasks. This information will alert the management of any technical risk concerns well in advance of their occurrence so that timely corrective action may be implemented.

Technology Implementation Risk - To minimize the technology implementation risk to a program,
C-BRAT™ Project quantifies technology risk contributed to each task of the program. This risk module is used to evaluate the risks induced to any of the project tasks caused by the maturity of the technology. The user is provided with two choices to conduct this risk analysis, either by using the historical data or by conducting a detailed analysis. This module informs the PM of any risks arising from technology implementation concerns well in advance of their occurrence for a timely corrective action.

Material Risk - To evaluate the material risk to a program C-BRAT™ Project quantifies material risk contributed to each task of the program. Program stakeholders and managers quantify the risk introduced by the material used in all of the Program tasks. C-BRAT™ Project provides the capability to evaluate material risk either by the use of historic data or by conducting a detailed analysis. It quantifies risk introduced by lead-time, quality, and cost, etc. caused by the selection of material. This information shall alert the management of any material-related concerns well in advance of their occurrence, so that timely corrective action may be implemented.

Equipment Risk - This module evaluates the risk to each task of the program, contributed by the equipment availability, fitness-to-operation, and maintenance type, etc. to the program. This module also provides the provisions to conduct the trend analysis on various equipment parameters to provide early warning to the PM for corrective actions. C-BRAT™ Project provides the capability to evaluate equipment risk either by using the historical data or by conducting a detailed analysis.

Process Risks - To assess the process risks to a program, C-BRAT™ Project quantifies process risks contributed to each task of the program. It is quantified by measuring the quality of the process associated with each of the project tasks. C-BRAT™ Project provides the capability to evaluate process risks either by the use of historic data or by conducting a detailed analysis. This information alerts the management of any process concerns well in advance, so that timely corrective action may be affected.

Other Risks - To capture risks associated with the project activity to a program, C-BRAT™ Project provides a capability to quantify and rollup all other types of risks contributed to each task of the program. These risks may include but not limited to Political, Environmental, etc.

Project Risk Tracking - C-BRAT™ Project allows you to quickly view the overall risks of a project or any subset of a project. Pie chart view shows the technical risk contribution caused by corporate, new technology, technical,
